So D.C. was fun.
I got drenched from head to toe twice within an hours time frame.
• 1st – My group and I split in half because my BFF and I wanted to hit the sculpture gardens again this year. We love getting a picture with the fountain behind us. So it was just drizzling lightly there after we finished the piccy’s through it like down poured on out heads. Seriously I had water from my head down my nose and eyes. D: I’m going ot be sooooo sick later but it was worth it.
• 2nd – Going to eat Dinner at the Old Post Office (with the clock tower) WE had to walk to it because I bus driver is slow and didn’t know where it was evenafter we showed him earlier that day. @_@ needless to say I get drenched for a second. YAY!
Trip Highlight for everyone in the Art Club.
My wipeout on the steps going into the Old post office. xD My friends are pretty affectionate so we were all holding onto each other’s arms. The main set up was Me, Shosho, and Kristi. *note – it’s down pouring all right & My clothes are wet from the trip before.* Walking down the steps I somehow slipped because:
A.) My pants where soaked and they are too long so they dragged the ground.
B.) My Vans have no grips what so ever on the bottom.
C.) Both A & B plus the Stairs where WET! D:
Anyways I go down and Shosho is still like gripping my arm to try and keep me from falling. Everyone down in front of us are like”
“ZOMG! BRITTANY YOU ALRIGHT.”
Meanwhile on the wet ground I’m laughing hysterically over the event seeing how we didn’t get lost this year I knew something bad would happen at some point so I’m laughing about it then I hopped yelling I’m okay. & Everyone just starts laughing hardcore about it.
Then we went into the building and they had some kind of film thingy where it took a picture of you walking in the building and it put’s it on the Washington Times. (The titles of the article was something Bush) however it snapped a shot of Me & Shosho all drenched and laughing over me falling on my butt. D:
So naturally everyone that knew what had happened to me a little bit ago just start cracking up xD
It was so funny. & Yet embarrassing but after 18 years of being a klutz and having things go wrong I’m just kind of used to it by now.
