Washington D.C. to Narita Japan ~
The day started out early seeing how we all had to meet up at the High school to carpool to Dulles airport. :] Kristi & I ended up riding down with Neisha, Pip, Patrick, Shivley, & Mr. Lum. :D I mostly listened to the jpop and jrock I had listed on my I pod the way down to the airport. ^-^
Arriving at the Airport, we got through security and such and boarded our flight. I don’t remember the time we left though. :[ On board the plane I found myself highly disappointed with their selection of in flight movies seeing how I had just watched almost every one of them the week before my flight!!! D: I don’t recall sleeping very much I do remember playing some Mario Party DS with Kristi, Alisha, & Chandra though. I’m so bad at those games it’s not even funny! *shakes fist to 6 stars* >.< There was also I time when I did wake up from sleeping for about 30 minutes and I moved my pillow on my lap & forgot where I put and I looked over and saw Chandra with a pillow and thought she stole mine xD
The plane ride took a total of 15 hours and 8minutes before we arrived in Narita Japan. Upon our arrival we got out bags and then headed off to our next gate for out plane to Osaka! :] That flight was much better and only took a total of 30 minutes. It was almost like traveling first class style! D: I loved it! At Osaka, we met up with out tour director Emi-chan! ^--^
While on the amazing shag bus, Emi-chan taught us how to say a few words and count to 10 in Japanese. :] It was cute. ^^ We ended up staying at the Best Western in Osaka that night where we learned a few things.
1. Ever play with the cable you might find your eyes on fire from the sight of adult material on teevee. D:
2. Some Japanese western style bathrooms play a musical tune when you flush.
3. BEWARE THE BUTT WASHER!!!! O_O
4. Futons aren’t that hard to sleep on but still uncomfortable! D:
5. NEVER use Airplane bathrooms. They are extremely dirty! D: (pee on the floor, left seat up = PIGS!)
